Hotel Transylvania 3-Movie Review By Linkin Applebee The movie Hotel Transylvania 3 is an interesting one, learn more in the article about the movie. The movie Hotel Transylvania 3 is about Ericka Van Hellsing trying to kill Dracula the vampire. But at first sight, Dracula falls in love with Ericka. Dracula does not realize is Ericka is trying to kill him. He is trying to hide his feelings for Ericka from Mavis. “Because you can only zing once,” said Dracula. Some parts you might like are the part were Dracula is riding on the stingray at the underwater volcano or the part where the fish person was riding the pack of baby wolves trying to find their parents. It is a really good movie and I recommend it! |
Movie review-Wonder
By Brady Monroe Today I am reviewing the 2017 film ‘Wonder’. I chose this movie because it truly speaks to me, and is quite an experience. The movie is based on the book written by R.J Palacio, and it was published in February of 2012, five years later it became a movie directed by Stephen Chbosky. In the exposition of the movie, we meet August Pullman, a ten-year-old with a facial deformity, his mom Isabelle, his dad Nate, and his sister Via. Auggie has always kept himself quiet and isolated from the real world. He is about to begin middle school at Beecher Prep, and since he’s never been to a real school before her was “Totally and completely petrified.” The movie is split up into sections for different characters. Auggie, Julian, Jack Will, Via, Miranda, and Justin, which I found interesting because that’s something you don’t see too much, it was interesting to see all of the different points of views. Some characters previously mentioned that have not been introduced at the beginning like Julian, Jack Will, Miranda, and Justin. Julian is Auggie’s enemy, Jack Will is August’s best friend. Miranda is Via’s best friend, and Justin becomes Via’s boyfriend. Auggie has his good times and bad times in middle school, I would say the worst part is when Jack Will said, “ I swear if I looked like him, I’d kill myself.” When Auggie heard that he was confused more than hurt. I think one of the best scenes of the movie was when Auggie’s family was grieving from a loss. The scripting and actors’ work was amazing, you could really feel their emotion as if it were happening to you. One of the most important scenes of the story is when Auggie goes on his weekend nature preserve trip for the weekend. On this trip, August and jack Will meet a group o seventh graders and they start getting picked on, and eventually it becomes physical. My personal favorite scene was the ending, where Auggie is at his graduation/award ceremony. Auggie wins a metal, and this scene was so amazing. You could really see the Character’s hard work and dedication, and everything he has been through finally paid off. |
